Where: The 2024 CMS NTP in-person workshops will take place in 2 locations this summer—Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Woodbridge, New Jersey. You’re invited to attend at the location of your choice. There is NO COST for registration.
What to expect: The topics presented won’t be the same as our virtual workshops (Colorado agenda). Take advantage of the in-person format to meet colleagues and partners, network and share best practices.
Events will be 2 full days (Tuesday & Wednesday) and a half-day (Thursday): August 6–8 in Colorado Springs, Colorado

CMS Training Course: What You Need to Know: PAC QRP Key Program Updates – FY/CY 2025
About The Course:
CMS is offering this 45-minute cross-setting web-based training course with interactive exercises, intended for quality managers, clinical supervisors and managers, and facility/agency administrators in PAC settings, provides an overview of key updates to the post-acute care (PAC) Quality Reporting Programs (QRPs) for Fiscal Year (FY)/Calendar Year (CY) 2025. This targeted training discusses new, removed, and revised quality measures (QMs). Timelines for public reporting and an overview of measure specifications are provided. Lessons are intended to be completed in sequential order but can be jumped to go directly to any topic of interest.
In addition, assessment guidelines and coding instructions are presented for two new data elements:
O0350. Patient/Resident's COVID-19 vaccination is up to date (cross-setting)
A1400. Payer Information (for Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities)

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is offering a video tutorial for completing D0150, Patient Mood Interview (PHQ-2 to 9), and D0160, Total Severity Score. This video depicts two scenarios that demonstrate the coding of the PHQ-2 to 9 to complete D0150, Patient Mood Interview (PHQ-2 to 9), and D0160, Total Severity Score. Two patient vignettes are depicted, one in which the PHQ-2 is demonstrated and one in which the entire PHQ-2 to 9 is completed.
