Hi everyone!!!!!!
It has been great creating these past couple months. We have been able to use couple different materials and mediums that we were not able to last year. We will continue to use different things throughout the remainder of the year.
I was able to go to the Van Gogh exhibition with my family when it was here. I took photos and videos of it and was able to share this with all the kids. Many of them thought the videos and how the images moved was amazing. We used this as our inspiration to create sunflower masterpieces.
The second half of the year we will be working on some special class mini murals and some artwork that could not happen last year.
Morning friends, I got an email from one of the art supply companies and it had a video in it on how pencils and color pencils were made. Mr. K thought WOW, this is really cool. I bet you guys would love to see how it was made. I never knew that the wooden part is really two pieces that have been glued together.
I then thought how are crayons made and looked for a video on how they were made. You can watch that one too if you would like. They are both really cool.
