Leila Green is dedicated to improving both the educational experiences and accomplishments of under-represented and disadvantaged youth through the development and use of instructional and motivational methods that increase levels of inspiration, motivation, attendance, and successful academic achievement. We emphasize the "each one, teach one" method, we share information around innovative instructional and learning strategies that have proven successful in motivating urban youth and increasing academic performance in critical learning areas. Our policy advocacy work ensures high standards and quality in our public and private education systems. We provide one-to-one and small group tutoring as well as learning activities for kids.

Leila Green Educators are committed to the following actions to attain the vision of an effective teaching and learning environment that is designed, developed, and tailored to meet the needs of every student.
In order to accomplish this vision, we will:
Advocate for professional development programs that strengthen the skills of teachers, principals, specialists, paraprofessionals, superintendents and school board members, we improve the learning environment for students.
Advance the interests of the education profession.
Ensure that the commitments and obligations to expand the number of under-represented educators are met with fairness, equity and respect.
Assist in the procurement of jobs, advancement opportunities, and appointive positions for under-represented educators.
Communicate the needs of all children to and collaborate with education stakeholders throughout Stark County.
Our stakeholders include: all students and families; all Boards of Education; all educators (teachers, counselors, paraprofessionals, administrators, etc.);allOEA-affiliated Educator Associations;all government officials; etc.
Maintain active involvement in those community efforts which promote cultural awareness, educational improvement, and the advancement of under-represented cultures.
