On October 19, 2019, the Leila Green Alliance of Black School Educators (L.G.A.B.S.E.), celebrated 45 years as an organization in Stark County!
Our co-founders, Stephanie Patrick and Patricia Keyser, called a meeting 45 years ago, put a plan in place to advance, insure, assist, communicate, and maintain the interest of minorities in the Canton City School District as well as in the Canton Community; and as they say, the rest is history! The Leila Green Alliance of Black School Educators has proudly maintained its presence and advocacy to the original goals set forth by Ms. Patrick, Ms. Keyser, and the charter members of this organization.
