The Leila Green Alliance of Black School Educator’ Council is celebrating our 50th Anniversary!  Fifty years ago, co-founders, Stephanie Patrick, Patricia Keyser, and several Charter members set this organization on a course to improve the educational experience for the Canton, Ohio community. Today, Leila Green A.B.S.E. continues to serve as a mainstay in our community.  Our mission has not changed as we educate, elevate, and advocate for all students, families, and educators--especially the underserved.

The formal, black tie event will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Kent State-Stark Conference Center.  Social hour will begin at 5:00 to 6:00pm, with the formal gala following.

The Honorable Judge Jeffery P. Hopkins of the U.S. Federal District Court will serve as keynote speaker.
