They also visited Villa Tufarelli. After a site visit with a local guide, the kids sat on the grass and drew whatever catched their attention. The following days back in school they selected the skeches and organised them in the final poster.
Finally, students produced two copies of an embossed copper picture that represent a camphor tree that has a particular value in our community. The tree was given as a present in 1700s by the king of Naples Charles II to the initial owner of villa Vannucchi. The king himself visites the villa and its park on many occasions and so wanted to thank his guest.
One copy of this artwork is in our school whereas the other one was donated to the Municipality on navember 7th 2019 during the Trees Festival at Villa Bruno's Fonderie.
