In the library circulation system, not reading is considered especially heinous. At SHS, the dedicated person who works to combat this crime is a member of an elite single-person squad known as the librarian. These are her (favorite) stories.
The Team is always hard at work choosing the best books for you!
April is National Poetry Month:
Launched by the Academy of American Poets in April 1996, National Poetry Month reminds the public that poets have an integral role to play in our culture and that poetry matters. Over the years, it has become the largest literary celebration in the world, with tens of millions of readers, students, K–12 teachers, librarians, booksellers, literary events curators, publishers, families, and, of course, poets, marking poetry's important place in our lives. School librarians are the people who create an environment where students can learn every day of the year. Their work is an impressive accomplishment.
