About the Librarian
Hello! I'm Debbie Byrum. I've been at SHS for 10 years now as a Teacher-Librarian. As you might guess, I love reading! My love for reading goes back to my own high school days when I worked in my high school library!
In college, I used to love to spend time at the ASU library. I graduated from Arizona State University with my Bachelors degree in Communication, I received my Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix in 2009, and shortly after that, I obtained my K-12 Library Media Endorsement from Seattle Pacific University in 2011. I’ve been working as the librarian here at Stanwood High school since 2014.
