First Reconciliation

The preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation at St. Ann Parish begins in the second Grade (prior to the preparation for First Holy Communion).  The preparation program usually includes a Parent Gathering and a Children's Workshop.  The Parent Gathering includes a discussion of the sacrament rituals, and an overview of the lesson your child will receive.   The Children's workshop will teach the children about God's love and forgiveness as we color pictures, solve puzzles, and read stories about Jesus. 

The Sacrament of First Reconciliation is usually celebrated the first week in December.
