St. Ann Parish Confirmation Preparation Program is a faith journey designed to help young people deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, strengthen their understanding of the Catholic faith, and prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Students in 8th grade who have completed the required faith formation preparation participate in this sacramental program.
Throughout the year, candidates will:
Grow in their knowledge of Scripture, Church teachings, and the role of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
Participate in Confirmation gatherings, prayer experiences, and a retreat to reflect on their faith journey.
Choose and work with a Confirmation Sponsor who will support them in their faith.
Prepare through lessons, discussions, reflection, and participation in the life of the parish community.
Attend a Rehearsal and Confirmation Liturgy where they celebrate the Sacrament with their families and parish community.
The goal of Confirmation preparation at St. Ann Parish is not simply to complete requirements, but to invite young people to make a personal commitment to their Catholic faith and to recognize the gifts of the Holy Spirit that strengthen them to be witnesses of Christ in the world.

The St. Ann Parish Confirmation Preparation Program guides candidates on a journey of faith
as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Through catechesis, prayer, service, retreat experiences, and participation in parish life,
candidates are encouraged to deepen their relationship with Jesus, embrace the gifts of the Holy Spirit,
and live as active disciples of Christ.
