First Reconciliation
&
First Holy Communion
Children preparing to celebrate the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion must have successfully completed the first-grade religion curriculum and be currently enrolled in second grade. This requirement applies to students enrolled in:
St. Ann CCD (Parish Religious Education Program)
St. Ann School
Other Catholic schools
For students enrolled in CCD, regular participation is an important part of sacramental preparation. Students are expected to maintain at least 80% attendance, unless prevented by a serious circumstance.
For additional information about the sacramental preparation process, please visit the First Communion Information page under the CCD Families section of our website.
Registration Requirements
Please submit the following:
A copy of your child's Baptismal Certificate (if it is not already on file with the parish).
The Sacramental Preparation Fee of $150 per child, which covers preparation for both First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
If the registration fee presents a financial hardship for your family, please contact me as soon as possible. No child will be denied the opportunity to prepare for the sacraments because of financial circumstances.
Once your registration form and fee have been received, you will receive additional information, including the Sacramental Preparation Calendar, which outlines all required parent meetings, workshops, rehearsals, and celebration dates.
We look forward to accompanying your family on this beautiful journey of faith as your child prepares to encounter God's mercy in Reconciliation and the gift of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.
Blessings,
Mrs. Grace Donahue
