Here you will find different activities to work through at your own pace! Most of them will be on seesaw.

Writing

Writing tasks will be posted onto Seesaw.

I can't wait to see you all using your imaginations and crafting some creative stories!

Remember to put a capital letter at the start of every sentence and full stops at the end.

On seesaw you will start to find a daily animal research activity! This is because we are now learning about how to write an information report about animals.

Reading

Each week there will be a book assigned on Sunshine Classics Online.

There will then be follow up activities on Seesaw.

Maths

I will be posting maths tasks for you to complete on Seesaw. Some of these tasks will be based around problem solving and may be open answered questions - meaning they can have different answers!

If you can - do a maths warm-up before doing the tasks.

Example: Skip counting in 2s, 5s, 10s.

Going through your doubles!

New topic: Fractions!

A great way to learn about fractions is through cooking and food. Do some baking and talk about the measurements that you're using. Cut up some fruit and veg for a snack and talk about fractions.

Other activities

Keep a look out for other activities that I post on Seesaw.
Play with blocks and lego - Try and make the tallest tower that you can or you could try and make a village. Share what you have built with me on Seesaw.
Play dress-ups - you could act out scenes from your favourite movies or pretend to be a different character.
Create your own shop - what could your customers buy from you? Get creative with how your customers are going to pay for goods. They could pay in raisins or leaves.
Do some puzzles!
Get into the kitchen, garden or laundry - help out and learn some new skills. Maybe you could organise breakfast, lunch or dinner one day! Find some yummy food ideas here!
Make a fort with blankets/sheets and pillows - have a tea party inside. Make sure you put everything away once you are finished.
Go for a walk and play i-spy. You could also read the numbers on the letter boxes that you go past.
