Follow up

Answer the questions about the book that I have posted on Seesaw.
Record yourself reading the book and post it to Seesaw so I can see.
Summarise the story in your own words.
Find your word endings of -ing, -ed, -er, -s in your book.
How many blends can you find in your story. Remember blends are the first two letters at the start of some words.

Writing

Check Seesaw for you writing task this week. Remember to edit your work to make sure you have used full stops and capital letters.

Topic for Wednesday What would you do if you were the Easter Bunny?

Write a descriptive piece of writing on what you would you do if you were the Easter Bunny.

What would you wear?

Where would you live?

What Easter egg chocolate would you deliver to all the children of the world?

Te Reo

We are going to be working on writing a diary entry in Te Reo. I will be helping you learn how to do this on Seesaw.

Your sentence will usually start with 'time' (I tēnei rā) -this day / today followed by Ka VERB / ACTION followed by the person or thing that did the action.

Here is the template for our sentence.

I tēnei rā,

Ka ________ ahau.

Fast Finishers

Bake something with your family and write down the instructions of how you made it.
Play ispy with your family when you are in your house or you are out walking.
Read a story and record yourself reading it to Seesaw.
Go for a walk and read the letterbox numbers on your way. See if you can tell your parents what one number more or one number less would be.
Do some puzzles!
Use your awesome instructional writing skills and get into the kitchen, garden or laundry. Learn some new skills by following instructions. Maybe you could make breakfast, lunch or dinner one day! Find some yummy food ideas here!
You could make a fort with blankets/sheets and pillows. When you are finished you could read a book to your toy. Remember to put everything away when you are finished.
Stay active! You can find things to help you with that here.
If you have lego or building blocks make a tower, a new town, a car or a whole village. Don't forget to share your creation with me on Seesaw.
