Writing

Check Seesaw for some writing tasks this week. BELOW are many suggestions around the 2 Mr Men books that you took home on the last day of school. Select the activities that suit you and move at your own pace. Remember to share what you can on Seesaw. If you were not at school on our last day, you might try these activities with other books you have at home or with books from Epic or Reading Eggs library. Mr Men and Little Miss books activities:

These activities can be completed on paper, on Seesaw or a mixture of both. Remember to click the green plus button at the top to add your work on Seesaw.

WRITE/ TALK:

· Write a description of the main characters

· Draw and write with speech bubbles what they might say or on Seesaw record what they might say (use chatterkid if you can)

· Write what might happen if you met your character/s

· Photograph Mr/ Miss on Chatterkid or seesaw and make them talk...remember to change your voice!

· What would happen if the main characters from your 2 books met each other?

DRAW/ MAKE:

· Draw your own characters and name them

· Draw your character and photograph it on Seesaw/ Chatterkid..what will he/ she say?

· Draw their house, meals, clothes, pets for your character.

· Make characters out of playdough and photograph them.. can you make them talk and tell about themselves.

· Make a large character on double paper, then staple around it and stuff it. Send me a photo please.

Reading

For students adding words to their jars:

*Sunshine online will provide some readers and activities each week if they are available to support your new word. There will also be seesaw activities that show your new word. Please add that word to your jar.

For students who have completed jars

* Your books and activities will be on Sunshine Online and more activities on Seesaw
