This event was filled with engaging conversations and socializing, as we touched on relevant topics affecting gender-marginalized college students in their everyday lives.

October 13, 2024, 7:30- 9 pm, @The Black House 

The event taught people about their ballots and for them to realize the urgency of voting. 

October 14, 2024, 12- 2 pm, @White Plaza

While enjoying delicious coffee at the AKA Café, people were informed about voting, serving as a wonderful reminder of Xi Beta's commitment to community engagement and civic duty. It was such a pleasant day outside, filled with great service!

Our chapter provided students around campus with a voting plan checklist to ensure their ability to cast a ballot and have their voices heard.

Xi Beta will be collaborating with other D9 chapters on campus to host an election watch party. There will be snacks and a space to voice your opinion!

This interactive workshop led by the Stanford Financial Wellness “Mind Over Money” staff will educate students in research-based financial literacy to promote healthy economic behaviors and cultures. This event is in line with the “Build Our Economic Wealth” initiative, which seeks to encourage and equip our members to have the strategies, resources, and education to build wealth on a personal, organization, and community level.

November 7, 2024, 6- 7:30 pm, @The Black House 

In collaboration with Rho Delta Omega, the chapter will be planting trees in South Palo Alto with the Canopy volunteer group. The objective of this event is to plant more trees in South Palo Alto, where there is a disparity compared to other parts of Palo Alto, in aims to enhance the overall environment.
