DEI Speaker Selection and Invitation Guidelines

The DEI Selection and Invitation guidelines: Suggestions for Inviting Diverse Speakers is a set of suggestions for selecting and inviting speakers that is meant to provide insight into how to increase diversity and inclusion of speakers without overburdening or tokenizing.  This document is intended for individuals who are responsible for identifying speakers for a talk, presentation, webinar, etc. This document provides a step by step approach with points to consider when selecting speakers as well as examples of how to respectfully approach and invite speakers.
