DEI Observation Guide

The DEI Guide to Observations for Prospective Students is a document created to help prospective students, trainees, and any other genetic counseling session observers maximize their observation experience. We have included questions and considerations for the preparation before observing, definitions of the genetic counseling session components, questions to consider when observing, and follow-up questions for the GC if there is time to debrief. We welcome anyone to make use of this document and we hope it provides context and structure to those observers who are new to genetic counseling. We welcome suggestions and feedback for our guide.
