I'm especially passionate about language use and love that the Stanford Genetic Counseling program doesn't just make statements about the importance of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice but implements actual plans to improve our community practices, resources, and infrastructure. I also believe strongly that taking DEI seriously means respecting and accommodating what accessibility and work-life balance looks like for different people and look forward to thinking more deeply about issues in this space."
