"I am involved in DEI AOC because this group has given me tools for my own ongoing education on race and racial inequality in healthcare, as well as tools that I need to make the change I want to see in the GC program and the Stanford Genetic Counseling community. I want genetic counselors, including myself, to be the best clinicians that they can be, meaning that we are aware and sensitive and humble about many intersections of identity."
