"As an Asian American genetic counselor at Stanford, I realize that my perspective on the world is limited to my life experiences and those of people in my community. I joined the DEI AOC in order to learn about the experiences, perspectives, needs and challenges of others. With greater understanding, I hope to play a role in the work of establishing a culture in which people from all walks of life are recognized, affirmed and empowered."
