"Reporting in FOLIO" refers to viewing or exporting a specific set of data in a structured way to support an activity. For example, a Bibliographer wants a list of endowed fund purchases in order to write a year-end letter to a donor. Or an Access Services staff person wants a list of items to be pulled for the hold shelf.
Do you need to:
See a specific set of data, organized in a particular way, in the FOLIO UI?
Get a set of data out of FOLIO for use in a workflow or analysis?
Set up a dashboard to monitor data over time to support decision-making?
Set up email delivery of data on a schedule to specific recipients?

The resources on this page are for anyone who wants to learn more about Reporting in FOLIO. They cover understanding the structure of the data tables in metadb, and writing and working with SQL queries. Metadb is a data pool continuously updated with all data from FOLIO. Data can be extracted directly from metadb using SQL queries and the DBeaver front-end. Data from Metadb can also be used in Tableau dashboards to give a more user-friendly presentation of query results.
Some Reporting in FOLIO is available from "in-app" features that produce data, such as the Circulation Log or an Inventory search. Tips for how to use FOLIO's in-app reporting features and how to find and use existing Tableau dashboards will eventually be included in relevant functional training modules.
