Please note that you are liable for the cost of your airfare in the event that you need to cancel off the program or if Travel/Study is unable to run the program for any reason. We strongly recommend purchasing refundable or transferrable tickets, or purchasing additional travel insurance to cover the cost of your flights in case you are unable to use your ticket. You may opt to work with your travel agent or call airlines directly or look on your preferred travel websites for flight options.

Once you have booked your air, please forward a copy of the flight itinerary you receive from your airline or travel agent to travelstudy@alumni.stanford.edu.

Arrive in Mexico City, Mexico (airport code MEX) by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4.
Transfer duration: from 35 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic, from the airport to the Hyatt Regency Polanco (a distance of about 10 miles).
Check-in time at hotel: rooms will be available beginning at 3:00 p.m. on September 4.
First activity: Welcome introductions at 6:30 p.m. on September 4.

Transfers from the Mexico City Airport to the hotel are provided for all travelers, regardless of arrival date.
We’ll use the flight information you provide to arrange included transfers. You may be grouped with other travelers arriving on the same flight or at the same time.
Depart from Oaxaca, Mexico (OAX) anytime on Thursday, September 12.
Transfer duration: approximately 30 minutes from the Grand Fiesta America Oaxaca to the airport (6 miles). Note that you are required to arrive at the airport in Mexico 2 hours prior to an international departure.
Final activity: farewell dinner on September 11.
