The Question feature of Google Classroom is a good tool for teachers to add quick formative assessments to lessons. Teachers can add multiple choice and short answer questions to check student understanding of lessons.
To add a question, start by clicking on the + button in the bottom right corner and selecting Create question.
Then, start by providing a question for the students. The question type can be either short answer or multiple choice. Questions can also include attachments, links, YouTube videos, or weblinks. After creating a question, teachers can post the question to the stream, or save it as a draft or schedule to to post to the stream at a later time.
After saving the question as a draft, it will appear for the teacher in the stream. From the stream, the teacher can edit the question, or adjust when it will appear in the stream for the students.
