Hi Rippowam families,
The 2023-2024 school year has come to a close. We celebrated your kiddos this week with many events like our the 6th grade trip the the Italian Center, 8th grade picnic, our “Kick off to Summer” party, Kona Ice truck visit and our moving up ceremony for the 8th graders.
A huge thank you to our PTO volunteers who supported with all these fun events, as well as our teachers who volunteered to get buckets of water dumped on them. See some pictures below, but check out all the pictures and videos on the PTO Instagram page: rippowampto.
On a personal note, I want to thank you all for your support this school year. We are on this journey together and it has been a pleasure to get to know you and your children. On behalf of the Rippowam staff, we appreciate the trust you put in us every day to do the best for your children. Enjoy the summer break!
Staffing Changes:
Every new school year brings new staff members. I will send updates introducing our new staff members as we get closer to the start of the school year.
Integrated Math Criteria and Recommendations
Click HERE for the updated criteria to be recommended as a 7th or 8th grader for Integrated Math, a high school level course offered at SPS Middle Schools. We will be making course recommendations in the coming week and will reach out to families regarding the placement as soon as possible.
School starts August 28th
I will send a midsummer communication out and also lots of reminders and updates in advance of the start of school.
