Dear Rippowam families,
Thanks to our Community Schools Grant Manager, Shawn Davis, for leading our Hats for Hope fundraiser this week. We even had some wonderful 6th grade students making bracelets to sell as well to benefit this organization. Rippowam raised over $500 for the Tommy Fund - an organization that supports children with Cancer and has benefited our own 6th grader Sam Lopez.
Most students completed their end of year Math iReady assessment this week as well. Initial data shows the media percent progress towards a student’s typical growth in a year is 86%. On Monday and Tuesday, we will run our Reading iReady testing schedule. I am executed to see how much growth our students demonstrate!

We invited students to come and learn about the program. Parent information night is Monday, May 19th from 5:00-6:00 pm at 229 North Street, Stamford (Anchor is just south of Stamford PD).
