Dear Rippowam families,

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mother’s or mother-like figures in our Rippowam family!  I hope you are celebrated and honored this weekend (and of course every day of the year!).

A HUGE thank you to the PTO and all the families that helped out for teacher appreciation week.  Thank you for the time, donations, notes and kind gestures that made this past week so special.  While the breakfasts and lunches were delicious, it was also wonderful to have time to spend with the parent volunteers who were here.  Check out THIS LINK to see the kind notes that parents and students wrote to school staff. 

Congrats to 8th grade science teacher Emily Hadin on her Spotlight Award
On Thursday, our 8th grade science teacher Emily Hadin was honored by Stamford’s Teacher of the Year Committee as a Spotlight teacher.  It is a deserving award for all of her work inspiring the love of science in our Rippowam students as well as her commitment for improving school culture and climate for staff and students. 

Honors and High Honors students celebrated
On Friday we celebrated our students who received High Honors and Honors for Q3.  Both groups of students received a certificate honoring their achievement and our High Honors students got an ice cream treat after lunch.  Congratulations!
