Dear Rippowam families,

Thank you to our PTO for making the Spring Book Fair a success! Your time and effort in setting up, assisting students, and keeping everything running smoothly are truly appreciated. Events like these help foster a love of reading in our school community.

A reminder that schools will be closed Monday in observance of Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting, reflection, and community for our Muslim families. We extend our best wishes to those celebrating—Eid Mubarak! May your celebrations be filled with joy and togetherness.

Enjoy the long weekend, and we look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday.

SPD Internet Safety Presentation is delayed - new date TBD
We are working with the Stamford Police department to find a new date.

Spring Fling Dance Friday, April 4th from 5:30-7:30
Join us for a Spring Dance!!! Students see your Heart Teachers for Permission Slips.  Parents please check out the Sign Up genius for ways you can help & participate!

Grading for some music and art classes
Students that have had substitute teachers in Q3 in Ms. Gibson’s music and Ms. Kelly’s art class will receive an “NG” for quarter.  This stands for No Grade and will not impact the overall grade for the year.  We are hopeful the teachers will be back soon!  For Ms. Kelly’s Digital Art and Photography classes, we have a new long term sub named Mr. Demu who has experience in business and technology classes.  Mr. Russell has been covering Ms. Gibson’s class in her absence.

Spring Break is Monday, April 14th - Friday, April 18th
Schools will be closed and we are back in session on Monday, April 21st.

Graduation and Moving Up Ceremony dates have been announced:
Dates for all ceremonies are below.  We will share Rippowam 8th grade moving up ceremony information next week

• AITE Graduation: Thursday, June 12 at 2 pm

• Stamford High School Graduation: Thursday, June 12 at 2 pm

• Westhill High School Graduation: Thursday, June 12 at 4 pm

• Middle School (8th Grade) Moving Up Ceremonies: Friday, June 13 (times vary by school)

• Elementary School Moving Up Ceremonies: TBA

Pick up for confiscated devices is from 7-3 in the main office
If your child’s device is confiscated, please pick it up during the hours of 7-3.  We lock the phones after dismissal and office or administrative staff may not be available to retrieve them from the safe.  Please come during school hours of 7-3 or speak directly to an administrator.
