Dear Rippowam families,
As we embark on the month of February, we are excited to commemorate Black History Month, a time to celebrate the rich heritage, contributions, and achievements of African Americans throughout history. We hear quotes and important contributions by black Americans in our daily morning announcements, have classroom projects dedicated to acknowledging and honoring the accomplishments of black individuals and are working to have a presentation by black sororities and fraternities for our students. By embracing and understanding our shared history, we contribute to creating a more inclusive and united future for our children.
