Dear Rippowam families,
This week at Rippowam, we kicked off our new mentorship program during HEART for selected 6th and 7th grade students in partnership with VIM (Vigorously Improving Minds). Through engaging, interactive activities, students began developing critical thinking, self-management, and social awareness skills—all while having fun with VIM’s energetic team.
While we’re disappointed that student participation in Sunday's Veterans Day parade was canceled due to the weather forecast, we’re incredibly proud of the preparation and enthusiasm our band students showed. A huge thank you to Mr. Rizzi for leading rehearsals, Ms. Lopez for her ongoing support, and Ms. Guidotti and Ms. Bivona for volunteering to march with our students. We’ll continue to look for new ways to showcase our students’ talents in the weeks ahead!
With many exciting events ahead, please be sure to check our Rippowam school events calendar regularly.

A huge thank you to Coaches Mr. Chymbor and Mr. Kepler for their hard work and dedication to our team all season!

iReady and MyPath for student growth in Math and Reading
All students completed an iReady reflection in HEART this week, setting personal goals. Please ask your child about it. Students also have access to MyPath through Clever, which supports their individual needs in Math and ELA. Our goal is 40 minutes per week in each subject, and this can be completed at home. Detailed instructions to access iReady Reports via Clever may be accessed here.
