Dear Rippowam families,
This week was filled with school spirit and meaningful moments! On Friday, our Rippowam community came together for a festive Pink Out Day to raise awareness for breast cancer. It was incredible to see so many students and staff showing their support in pink—we can’t wait to share how much we’ve raised for the Bennett Cancer Center! Our remaining 6th graders also had an exciting week as they braved the wind for their SoundWaters field trip, diving into hands-on, science-based learning on the Long Island Sound. As we head into the weekend, don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour, and I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!
With many exciting events ahead, please be sure to check our Rippowam school events calendar regularly.

iReady and MyPath for student growth in Math and Reading
All students completed an iReady reflection in HEART this week, setting personal goals. Please ask your child about it. Students also have access to MyPath through Clever, which supports their individual needs in Math and ELA. Our goal is 40 minutes per week in each subject, and this can be completed at home.
Parents may access their child’s iReady Report via Clever, which is a technology platform used by SPS to provide students and teachers with a single sign on (SSO) for all digital resources. To access Clever, you will need your child’s SPS gmail account login. Detailed instructions to access iReady Reports via Clever may be accessed here.
