Dear Rippowam families,
What a busy and festive week at Rippowam! From our first dance of the year — the Fall Costume Ball — to Spirit Week and our first Community Day, our school was full of energy and school spirit. The Fall Costume Ball was a huge success thanks to our amazing students and the many parent and teacher volunteers who helped make the night possible.
Community Day was another highlight — a day for students to celebrate Raptor PRIDE, build connections, and strengthen our positive school climate. Be sure to check out the video (link below) created by members of our School Climate Committee to share what community means to Rippowam students and staff! Spirit Week added even more fun and color to our days, ending with the always-popular Pajama Day.
Today we wrapped up the week with our first PRIDE Council meeting, where student leaders shared feedback on Community Day, brainstormed new school events, and discussed ways to give back through community service. Together, we’re continuing to make Rippowam a place where every student feels like they belong and where our positive school culture continues to grow stronger every day.

Accessing Your Child’s iReady Report
Parents may access their child’s iReady Report via Clever, which is a technology platform used by SPS to provide students and teachers with a single sign on (SSO) for all digital resources. To access Clever, you will need your child’s SPS gmail account login. Detailed instructions to access iReady Reports via Clever may be accessed here.
At Rippowam, we use this data to make instructional decisions, support intervention and enrichment decisions and monitor student growth over time. If your child’s BOY data indicated the need for an intervention class in reading and/or math, you may notice a change in their schedule so they can get the support they need.
