Dear Rippowam families,
I heard from a few families that my weekly email was not received on Saturday. I apologize, I am not sure what happened. Please see below for what was sent:
Thanks to all the families who came out for our Hispanic Heritage Night dinner and celebration. We had students and families who won prizes: a TV, a firestick and a generous donation from a parent - a $50 bill.
This week Amy Gibson, our music, strings and band teacher, provided an amazing opportunity for students to hear professional violinist Alexander Markov to perform for a group of students. He performed classical to modern musical scores on 3 different violins - including an electric violin with a light up bow. It was great to see our kids cheering and excited by the performance and asking for his autograph at the end. He is playing at Carnegie Hall in NYC on 10/22 - check out his website for more information: https://www.alexandermarkov.com/
We have a lot of exciting events happening in the coming weeks! Make sure you check out our Rippowam Events Calendar for upcoming and planned events.
