Dear Rippowam families,
We have another 3 day weekend in honor of Columbus Day/Indigenous People’s Day. School is closed on Monday, October 14th.
This week our administration team visited a lot of classes. A highlight was watching Ms. Beach’s 6th grade drama class read for various roles in a script Where Is My Mummy? Students chose which character they wanted to read for and went on stage to audition. They were excited and really good! It is going to be hard for Ms. Beach to make the decisions.
We have a lot of exciting events happening in the coming weeks! Make sure you check out our Rippowam Events Calendar for upcoming and planned events.

Congrats to the Rippowam XC team!
Our cross country team had their first race of the season at Dolan yesterday where 180 middle school runners gathered to compete. It was the perfect fall day for our runners to take on the fast paced, 1.1 mile course. Top runners for the day were 8th grader Christian Ritacco who placed 17th in the boys race and 7th grader Zanila McKenzie who placed 6th in the girls race. We are so proud of all our runners!
After School Programming is on!
21st Century programming and Rippowam Raptors ROSCCO After-school Enrichment have begun! There is still place in the ROSCCO program - click on the link above.
Club soccer and cross country running has started! See schedule below and have your child see their PE teacher for a permission slip if they would like to participate:
