When I first heard about this project, I told my mom that I needed a person to do it on. I was originally going to do someone else, but we couldn’t find a book on her. Then my mom asked me if I wanted to do Sally Ride. I had no idea who she was. After I read a book about her and did some research, I immediately knew Sally Ride was one of my new role models. I was very shocked to learn that she got into high school from her sports history. I also didn’t know that she was interested in science from a young age. I thought that her interest grew over time. Doing the research was fun, but one of the best parts was creating the Photostory. Even though it was fun, it was also very challenging. Some of the hardest parts were making sure that you were loud enough, the music mix was just right, the music wasn’t too loud, and that your transitions went well with your person. It was also very time consuming to have to put all the pictures in and then go through each one and see if it looked better without the black borders. From making this Photostory, I learned how to use different apps and how to record my voice so it sounds good with music. With a lot of hard work, I am very excited for you to see my Photostory about Sally Ride.
