The reason I selected Rosa Parks for my biography person is because when I watched “The Help” a while ago I realized how important it is for black people to be heard. Why Rosa Parks? Since I was inspired by “The Help”, I decided to create a presentation that was related to the movie in a way, and it just so happened that I could compare and contrast Rosa to the black women in “The Help”. I also learned something new about Rosa that I hadn’t known before. It turns out that even though Parks got married she never had any children. That sounds really sad to me because when one of the mothers from “The Help” was crying at the end, my mom explained to me that the mother realized that the best job you can have is to raise children.
