I chose Malala Yousafsai because she is a smart, young, and dedicated woman. She spoke out so her voice could be heard. I learned many new things about Malala. I never knew that she once got shot in the head. When I heard that I was so shocked that she recovered from it. She is a very strong woman. The hardest thing to do while creating my photostory was trying not to laugh while I was recording. I love to laugh. Sometimes people call me “laugh attack”. I think that my final presentation was great. The only thing that bothered me was that I was sick while recording the video, so my voice sounds muffled at times. When I showed all my classmates I was kind of embarrassed because I don’t like presenting things to my class. What I learned about making a “documentary movie” is that it takes time and patience. There were times where I was just like I want to get this over with. I had to redo many slides over either because I didn’t like them, or there was a lot of background noise. Overall I think this project was a great learning experience.
