With 5A distance being an increasingly tougher realm to dominate, Katelyn continues to rise to the challenge and deliver incredible performances. She has set a new SCHOOL RECORD and lowered her PR to 10:22.57 in the 3200m Run which ranks second in all classes in the event. She is also ranked 2nd overall in the 1600m run in all classes with a 5:01.12 which is also a school record she set on March 28th in Junction City.

Allison Robinett, So. Throws
The returning state qualifier is showing some grit this season, competing and scoring week in and week out in all three throwing events. The Manhattan Varsity Invite on Friday, April 12th was her finest complete meet in her young Mustang career. She set a new PR in the Shotput with a heave of 35' 5" (3rd place), a new SB in Discus with a toss of 119' 9" (3rd place) and a 14 ft SB throw of 113' 6" (4th place). Things are starting to come together!

Jimito Gardenhire, So. Sprints
Jimito is a kid who always shows up and is always ready to compete whether it be in workouts at practice or on meet days. Being thrown into varsity meets due to injuries and absences, Jimito has competed in each heat he performs in and is showing incredible consistency and improvement. He is a Mustang to keep your eyes on!

Brayden Haase, Jr. Discus
Brayden has emerged this season as the top boy's discus thrower and has set new PR's each of the past 3 weeks. Brayden has shown a lot of incredible leadership skills in his career as a Mustang and does a good job mentoring and rooting for everyone in the Maroon and White. His last PR heave of 145' 4" at the Manhattan Varsity Invite place him second and has him sitting 4th in our regional lists.
