Hello and a very warm welcome! My name is Ms Alderton, and I am thrilled to be your child’s class teacher this academic year. I have been teaching in Year 5 at Malvern College for 5 years, with a background in computing, design and theatre. My primary goal in the classroom is to create a safe, vibrant and joyful environment where every child feels valued, encouraged to ask curious questions and empowered to try new things without fear of making mistakes. In 5A, we learn together as a community. We celebrate kindness, resilience and curiosity every day. We will be building strong foundations in English and Mathematics while exploring fascinating topics across Science, Humanities, and the Arts. Parents are an essential part of our learning journey! Please do not hesitate to contact me, via email, should you want to find out more.
