Welcome to Year 3 This is an exciting stage in your child’s learning journey, as they begin Key Stage 2. The year is designed to build on the foundations from Key Stage 1 while helping children grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity. The Schemes of Learning are the road maps which the teachers and parents will use to ensure that the children succeed throughout their time in Year 3. Each week, resources will be posted for you, the parent, to use at home so that any skills or knowledge which your child received during the week can be consolidated. These will take the form of an explanation video in maths, a quality website for science or a link to a story which we'll be covering in our English lessons.
