VOLY - LISD's Volunteer Speaker Hub

Want to bring in a guest speaker either virtually or in-person but it seems like you never have the time? I know. I was there. That's why LISD has their very own volunteer site. Learn how to use VOLY, the LISD volunteer system, to post an opportunity for a speaker that can enrich your classroom content. VOLY has over 36,000 registered volunteers. You can even sort by content area and control who comes in to speak. It's a great resource that can help your students to stop asking the questions "Why are we learning this?", and "Will this REALLY be used in a job someday?".

Ready for the best part? Only volunteers who have passed their background check can sign up! It's a huge time-saver! Learn at your own pace and plan for a great school year!
