Description: The linguistically accommodated curriculum for ESL ELAR classes has been revised and updated to include StudySync instructional materials and additional ESL instructional practices. This course provides teachers an overview of the changes and opportunity to dig into Unit 1.
Credits: 3 hours Mandatory August for appropriate teachers

Description: This self-paced, online course is designed to guide teachers through a review of the content covered on the TExES English as a Second Language (ESL) Supplemental Certification Exam and is intended to provide participants with a foundation in language acquisition theory, instructional practices, and research related to language programs.
This course incorporates sections of the book, English Learners in American Classrooms.

Description: Description from TEA: "The purpose of this online course is to provide supplemental training on Domain I, II and III of the TExES (ESL) Supplemental #154 exam. This online course will review in context the significance of ESL education in public schools in Texas, explain the historical background across the United States, and specifically define terminology within each competency’s descriptive statements or components. The preparation course is free to Texas educators seeking ESL certification in order to build capacity in their Local Education Agency (LEA)."

ESL Instructional Strategies Courses
Description: This course consists of a series of webinars created by Saddleback Publishing and Seidlitz Education from December 2020 through April 2021. The webinars focus on instructional strategies to support secondary English Learners in content area classrooms.
This course is open to all secondary staff. The learning is most applicable to classroom teachers. Aides and Liaisons may also find helpful strategies they can use in their roles supporting students.
