iPads go home daily, so we need to make you aware of our policies regarding these devices.
Requirements:
iPads must be taken home and returned to school everyday.
iPads must be fully charged each night. They will last through the day as long as they come to school fully charged.
iPad chargers should be left at home, and not brought to school.
iPads must remain in the protective case in order to be covered by the insurance.
If the iPad is left at home or not fully charged, students will have difficulty getting class assignments completed on time.
We are trying to help our students grow in their personal responsibility. Please avoid bringing your child's iPad to school if left at home. This will best help your child develop much needed life skills such as self-sufficiency and responsibility.

Please take this time to remind your child the importance of taking care of the iPad. It is important for students to know where their iPads are at all times, as well as to protect them to prevent serious damage. Also, please remind your child to charge the iPad every night so it's ready for the next school day. For more helpful tips about iPad use, visit the LISD 1:X Student/Parent Handbook.
