Long Range Plan
Artificial Intelligence relates to the Lewisville ISD Long Range Plan through the district's mission to equip students to "thrive and adapt for their future" and its goal of providing "relevant instruction." AI serves as both a critical tool and a subject of study within instructional strategies, designed to foster critical thinking and prepare students for a rapidly evolving, technology-driven world.
To support these long-term educational goals, LISD has acceptable use policies and technology guidelines for staff and students. These measures ensure that AI is utilized ethically and responsibly, reinforcing the district's commitment to creating safe, engaging environments where students can navigate new technologies securely.
