Warm-up- approaches to learning student reflection
Introduced the horror criterion sheet. We will complete a criterion sheet for each story we read during this unit. we worked together to fill in the first criterion. Students worked independently or with a partner to complete. What is not finished is homework! Criterion sheet is graded on accuracy and not completion. Please reference Oct. 8th if you need help filling in the blanks for the definitions.

2. Read and annotate "No Ghost Stories at Camp?" (copy attached)
3. Answer the questions on the graphic organizer.

I would encourage you to complete this task digitally if you have a PRIMARY device, but you may NOT complete this writing assignment on your phone. If you have a tablet, and you are confident that you can produce high quality formatting, you may use your tablet in class. For students without a device, a paper copy is available in for this task. If you do complete a paper copy, please make sure you turn it in no later than the start of class on Oct 25th.
