Some students believed disabilities were only physical, overlooking cognitive and mental health conditions. This feedback highlighted the need for clearer information on our website. The team collected responses and agreed to refine our messaging based on student engagement. Ophelia suggested adding a frequently asked questions (FAQ) section to address common concerns. We recorded parts of the event and planned to include highlights in our website’s outreach section. The success of the event motivated us to explore further engagement strategies.

We conducted a survey to assess the community’s awareness of disabilities. Matt led the design of the questionnaire, ensuring it covered key topics such as accessibility, inclusion, and disability rights. Janet and Ophelia distributed the survey both digitally and in person, targeting students, teachers, and community members. Mars analyzed the data, identifying gaps in public understanding. Results showed that while some respondents had basic knowledge, many lacked awareness of invisible disabilities. Barnett suggested comparing our findings with national statistics to highlight disparities. The team discussed ways to incorporate survey results into the website, possibly through an interactive data visualization. Janet proposed an awareness campaign based on our findings, addressing the most common misconceptions. Mars and Matt worked on formatting the data into an easy-to-understand report. We concluded that the website should emphasize educational content tailored to address these knowledge gaps.

After the advocacy, here's a review of areas for improvement that emerged:
Time Management: We noticed some speakers may have procrastinated a bit during their speeches. We suggest being more mindful of time management in future advocacy events to avoid affecting the overall program schedule.
Language and Content: Some content may have been a bit difficult for the students to understand. We suggest using clearer, more understandable language in preparing advocacy materials and adjusting the content to themes closer to students' lives.
Presentation Style: It's suggested that presenters face the students to increase interaction and interest.
Stage Design and Presentation: We could make the stage design simpler and add more lively animations in the slides to capture students' attention.
Post-event Interaction: After the advocacy event, we can arrange interaction time with students, such as taking photos with winners or engaging in conversations, to increase participation and interaction.
Use of Metaphors: We suggest using more metaphors in explanations and presentations to make the content more vivid and understandable.
Organization and Layout: Participants could stand on both sides of the stage to increase dynamism and participation.
