Wreathmaking in Reception

Advent is the theme for Reception's RE work at the moment. The children have been gathering foliage and making their own beautiful advent wreaths. The circular shape of the traditional advent wreath symbolises continuous life and the everlasting nature of God's love. As well as this foliage work, our youngest learners are in rehearsals for their very first Nativity performance. The word along the school corridor is that it is shaping up to be a Christmas feast of a show. We will be ringside to take some pictures of the show for you.

St Stephens Staff Walk for Shelter

St. Stephen's School staff are taking part in 'Walk for Home' to raise money for the charity SHELTER. Walk for Home is the winter walking event that tackles homelessness. This December, we are joining walkers nationwide taking big steps to raise money to help give families a warm and safe place to call home.
