Sometimes we work in groups, on our own, as a class or with a partner. Here we give you our Year Four children examining some written work on Alan Turing (their class is named after the eminent local scientist) looking for 'run on' sentences that could be split into two to make more sense. They did an excellent job and upleveled perfectly, as well as learning lots of facts about Mr Turing. Dubbed the 'father of modern computing,' the famous codebreaker was not publicly feted for his work in his lifetime but is now properly getting the credit he so rightly deserves.
