RECYCLING OUR OLD TEXT BOOKS WITH MRS CHATTAWAY
Our lovely Mrs Chattaway has been busy parcelling up hundreds of old Maths and Literacy texts for the Booksabroad.org.uk scheme. Dusty and languishing sadly on top shelves in our cupboards, these books are now doing sterling service in classrooms in Africa and India. Mrs Chattaway has been working away for weeks, packaging up the unused tomes, which are now being shipped abroad. The changes in the UK curriculum mean we no longer need them but we are thrilled that they are helping other children in countries where educational resources are not so plentiful. Big shout out to the marvellous Mrs Chattaway for her hard work in making this happen.
We are so grateful for all the ongoing parental support that makes such a difference in the running of our school and the education of our children. Whether it is the wonderful work of our fabulous FOSS, the many parents who come in to read and help in our library or those who assist on our many trips, we thank you all.
BIG CHEER FOR ALL OUR PARENT HELPERS
