9th January 2026
We hope you all had a restful and enjoyable break. While we had hoped for a gentle return to school, the start of the Spring term has been a little more adventurous than planned!
As you are aware, a local issue with Thames Water meant we unfortunately had to close the school for half a day yesterday. We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding while we managed the situation; it is good to have the children back in their classrooms today.
Despite the brief interruption, we already have a huge amount to celebrate. We are thrilled to announce that our Dodgeball team are officially County Champions! It is an incredible achievement to kick off the year with such a win. You can read the full report and see photos of our champions in action on the Sports page.
The term is already in full swing elsewhere, too; both Year 6 and Year 3 have been out on school trips this week. Looking ahead, we have a packed calendar to look forward to, including class assemblies, further educational trips, World Book Day, our Easter Celebration at St Stephen's Church, and the highly anticipated return of the FOSS School Talent Show, which was a fantastic highlight of last year.
Thank you for your continued support as we head into another busy and exciting term.
