We use lots of different techniques in our learning, including drama. The children in Year Three's Mandela class have been studying the Greek tale of Theseus and the Minotaur as part of their literacy work which will culminate in them writing their own myth. As part of their work the children have been taking part in some 'freeze frame' drama sessions to focus on pivotal moments in this famous story. Once they have planned and honed their myths, they will publish a final version. This publishing process gives them such pride in their work and they take time to showcase these wonderful finished editions to their peers.
